 Post subject: Kind of a strange question but I hope someone has an idea...

So my question is, if you're not home and your hose decides to pop off your return pump, if there any way to set something up that shuts the pump off when its spouting water out of your sump? I know clamps and all that work pretty well but just as a fail safe, would anything be possible? Thank you for your time.
